The radiopharmacy department of the Zentralklinik in Bad Berka (Thuringia) has received manufacturing authorization for three gallium-based radiopharmaceutical products. The innovative therapeutics are based on the latest theranostic principles, meaning they combine diagnosis and therapy.

For example, GA68-PSMA11, one of the three products, is used in radioligand therapy, a nuclear medicine treatment for prostate cancer. GA68-DOTATOC, by contrast, is used for neuroendocrine tumors.

The Zentralklinik in Bad Berka is recognized as a center of excellence and ranks among the world’s leading centers in the treatment of rare tumor forms. Approximately 3,300 patients, including several hundred patients from abroad, benefit annually from the facility’s highly qualified team and its medical products manufactured to the highest standards.
